FORGING FUTURE WARRIORS THROUGH TECH-DRIVEN TRAINING: THE GRENADIERS REGIMENTAL CENTRE JABALPUR

Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, GOC-in-C Central Command , visited The GRENADIERS Regimental Centre on 29 Apr 2026. He Commended the Regtl Centre for successfully integrating time-honoured military traditions with modern, technology-driven training practices.

During his visit, he inspected a range of advanced training infrastructure, including the Drone Training Lab, Digital MR Nursery, Weapon simulators and Digital sand model along with ongoing computer- based training facility for Agniveers. He also engaged with the Centre’s YBC firers and accomplished rowing athletes, applauding their commitment and achievements. The Army Cdr also appreciated the Centre’s environmental initiatives and its outreach towards Ex-Serviceman and Veer Naris.

In his interaction with Agniveers and All Rks of the Centre, he praised their professionalism adaptability and effective use of technology; reaffirming Indian Army’s commitment to becoming a future-ready and self-reliant force.
