INTERACTION OF COLONEL THE GRENADIERS WITH NEWLY COMMISSIONED   

YOUNG OFFICERS DURING ORIENTATION VISIT  

An interaction between the Colonel THE GRENADIERS and seven newly commissioned Young Officers from OTA Gaya and OTA Chennai was conducted via VC during their orientation visit to The GRENADIERS RC on 10 Apr. Col The GRENADIERS highlighted regimental ethos, brotherhood and the proud legacy of courage and sacrifice symbolised by the White Hackle.

He emphasised leadership founded on trust, camaraderie, and leading from the front. Stressing professional excellence, he underscored the importance of the Young Officers’ Course and continuous self-improvement. He also encouraged officers to inculcate strong reading and writing habits to enhance intellectual growth, clarity of thought and effective communication. Drawing from his experience, he inspired the YOs to uphold moral strength, discipline and commitment in all spheres. 

The interaction reinforced regimental pride and the responsibilities of young leaders in upholding the traditions of THE GRENADIERS.
