MOUNT DZO JONGO EXPEDITION- 23 MAY 2026

Nk Kamal Thakur and Gdr Degamber of CHAKRA Bn along with a team of Army Mountaineering Institute  successfully conducted an expedition to Mt Dzo Jongo in the Markha Valley, Laddakh on 23 May 2026. The expedition enhanced mountaineering proficiency and reinforced the combat readiness of troops operating in extreme high-altitude terrain.

The successful summiting of Mt Dzo Jongo reflects the Bn's spirit of endurance, adventure and unwavering commitment towards professional excellence in the harshest terrains.
