The GRENADIERS Regiment proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of Naik Amit Kumar of 5 GRENADIERS, a dedicated and disciplined sportsman whose talent and indomitable spirit have brought immense pride to the Regiment, the Indian Army and the Nation.

A Journey of Excellence: Nk Amit Kumar’s journey in sports is a testament to his unwavering commitment and exceptional skill. His recent participation in the 8th National Rowing Indoor Championship 2025, held in Kerala from 26–30 April 2025, marked a significant milestone. Competing in the 2000m Team Event, he clinched a Silver Medal, showcasing his prowess and earning a well-deserved selection for The Asian Rowing Indoor Championship international event based on his outstanding individual performance.

Shining on the Global Stage: Representing India at the Asian Rowing Indoor Championship 2025 in Pattaya, Thailand, from 26–31 May 2025, Nk Amit Kumar competed against some of the finest athletes from across the continent. His grit and determination shone through as he secured: Silver Medal in the Single 2000m event and Bronze Medal in the Single 500m event.

These achievements highlight his versatility, endurance and ability to perform under pressure on an International Platform.

His success at the Asian Indoor Rowing Championship is not just a personal triumph but a proud moment for  5 GRENADIERS and the Indian Army.
