OTA GAYA CADETS VISIT THE GRENADIERS REGIMENTAL CENTRE
A GLIMPSE INTO LEGACY AND LEADERSHIP
Twenty four Officer Cadets of OTA Gaya visited the GRENADIERS Regimental Centre, on an educational and motivational tour from 16 to 21 June 2025. They received a warm welcome from Colonel The GRENADIERS through a video message and an inspiring address by the Commandant. Cadets visited key institutes like the Drona Training Block, Rakesh Museum and Archives Section, learning about the Regiment’s heroic legacy.
The visit concluded with a get-together at the Regimental Centre’s Officers’ Mess, where cadets had a fortunate opportunity to interact with Regimental Veterans staying in Jabalpur, Officers and Ladies posted to the Centre, Officers who had done attachment with the Regiment and seven Young Officers undergoing pre-courses in the Regimental Centre; they had a unique experience of being welcomed by and gaining experience from the senior most to the youngest generation of Grinders and their families. The Pipe and Jazz band also took opportunity to engage the cadets in few immersive numbers while being cheered and motivated by the Officers and Ladies.
The visit proved deeply motivating, strengthening cadets’ commitment to the armed forces and offering a valuable glimpse into life beyond academy training. Such engagements are essential in shaping the future leaders of the Indian Army.
