PASSING OUT PARADE – AGNIVEER BATCH- 7

 

The GRENADIERS Regimental Centre had the honour of hosting Maj Gen Rakesh Manocha, SM, VSM from 28–30 May 2026 as part of the Farewell Visit Programme, an initiative instituted by the Colonel The GRENADIERS to honour GRINDERS at the culmination of their distinguished military service.

 

The visit provided an opportunity for the General Officer to reconnect with the Regiment, interact with all ranks and witness the Centre’s continued efforts in training with special emphasis on tech infusion and integration and grooming of future soldiers of the Regiment.

Adding further prestige to the occasion, Maj Gen Rakesh Manocha, SM, VSM also graced the occasion as the Reviewing Officer of the Passing Out Parade of Agniveer Batch - 7. Addressing the Agniveers, he congratulated them for the successful completion of their rigorous training and exhorted them to uphold the highest traditions, values and ethos of The Grenadiers Regiment.

 

The visit concluded with a vibrant Social Evening at the Grenadiers Officers’ Mess, bringing together serving officers and veteran GRINDERS of Jabalpur Station. The gathering fostered camaraderie, meaningful interaction and the sharing of experiences, further strengthening the bonds of regimental brotherhood and reinforcing the enduring spirit and proud legacy of The GRENADIERS Regiment.
