TRIBUTE TO COL AJAY SANGWAN (RETD) OF 22 GRENADIERS

I deeply regret to inform you about the sad demise of  IC–54937Y Col Ajay Sangwan (Retd)  on 22 Feb 2026 at Chhapar Village, District Dadri (Haryana).  He was born on 24 July 1968 and commissioned into 22 GRENADIERS on 06 Mar 1993.  He retired from his service on 16 Jul 2020.

Lt Gen Sanjay Mitra, AVSM, Col The GRENADIERS and the entire GRENADIER fraternity convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty to bestow them strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. We also pray to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
