VISITS - COL THE GRENADIERS 12, 21, 24, 25 GRENADIERS AND 29 AND 55 RASHTRIYA RIFLES – FROM 22 TO 24 APR 2026

Lt Gen Sanjay Mitra, AVSM, Director General, Operations and Logistics & Col, The GRENADIERS, visited Units deployed in HAA and CI/CT role wef 22-24 Apr 2026. Col, The GRENADIERS visited 12th, 21st, 24th, 25th GRENADIERS and 29 and 55 Rashtriya Rifles. Interaction with tps was conducted at each loc and the COR appreciated the commendable performance of the Battalions in their operational responsibilities in various fmns.

During the interactions, the COR inspired the GRINDERS to excel in their operational tasks and responsibilities, and follow the motto of  “Naam, Namak and  Nishan” in letter and spirit. He also conveyed that the Regt is proud of their achievements and stupendous performance in extremely challenging conditions. As a gesture of encouragement, the COR awarded medallions to outstanding soldiers, recognising their exceptional contribution and thereby boosting the morale of the Units.
