WHITE HACKLE TRIUMPH: GRENADIERS EXCEL IN ROWING & MARKSMANSHIP

The indomitable spirit of The GRENADIERS Regiment continues to shine across national sporting arenas, as its warriors excelled in both endurance and precision disciplines, bringing laurels to the Regiment and the Nation.

At the All India Open Indoor Rowing Championship 2026, held at Cuttack (Odisha) from 08–11 April 2026, the rowers of The GRENADIERS Regimental Centre representing the MP Team delivered an outstanding performance, securing 01 Silver and 02 Bronze Medals. The achievements were led by:

  • Nk Rahul (21 GRENADIERS) – Silver Medal in LM2 (2000m).
  • AV/GD Bharat (12 GRENADIERS) – Silver Medal in LM2 (2000m) & Bronze Medal in MR4 (2000m).
  • Gdr Deepak (13 GRENADIERS) – Bronze Medals in M2 (2000m) & MR4 (2000m).
  • AV/GD Dileep Singh (20 GRENADIERS) – Bronze Medal in MR4 (2000m).

Complementing this stellar performance, the Regiment’s marksmanship prowess was on full display at the 22nd Young Blood Championship 2026, conducted at the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU), Mhow from 01–09 April 2026.

  • AV Kartik (AV 01/ PU, 6 GRENADIERS) secured the Gold Medal in 10m Air Rifle, achieving the highest score of the entire tournament and leading the Infantry Red Team to overall victory.

These achievements stand as a testament to the Regiment’s unwavering commitment to excellence, rigorous training standards, and high morale. From powering through the rowing arena to delivering pinpoint accuracy on the shooting range, the Grenadiers continue to uphold the glorious legacy and unmatched aura of the White Hackle—a symbol of courage, pride and victory.
