WREATHLAYING CEREMONY IN HONOUR OF JC-448923W NB SUB LATE ATIKU RAHMAN 

AT NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL, NEW DELHI, ON 09 DEC 2025

A solemn wreath-laying ceremony was organised at the National War Memorial, New Delhi, on 09 Dec 2025 to honour the supreme sacrifice of JC-448923W Nb Sub Late Atiku Rahman of 20 GRENADIERS.  

All necessary coordination and arrangements were meticulously carried out to ensure a dignified tribute. The wreath was laid by Smt Hazratul Nisham, Veer Nari of JC-448923W Nb Sub Late Atiku Rahman.  

Nb Sub Late Atiku Rahman laid down his life in the line of duty, making the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Parakram on 15 July 2002, while fighting terrorists with exemplary courage and devotion to duty.

The ceremony served as a poignant reminder of his bravery, valour, and unwavering commitment to the nation. His sacrifice continues to inspire generations of Grenadiers and citizens alike.
